There is the PR-MEDIA 5W1H mixer next Friday which is organised by one of the editors here in Singapore. So far 6 out of 75 said yes, which 4 are Journalists and 2 are PR.. hmm media outnumbering the PR in a social event.... hmm.. 4 politely declined.. The rest of the 65 are still wondering what they will be doing next Friday..

Interesting the restaurant is charging us S$30 nett for 4 course French meal and no corsage charge... However, at S$30, the restaurant could only provide with so much steak and lamb chops...

Fat Free isn't cheap either.. A 330ml of Fat Free bottled water costs about SGD2.50, inclusive of a plastic cup filled to the rim with ice.

The Media Slut wonders if 1% fat water would be cheaper of more expensive? How about 100% fat water?

Interesting Stats on Hit Rates

Going through the Hit Rates and found some interesting stats

1. Thanks to a "Denizen" who posted my site at www.clubsnap.org, I was able to get over 1000 hits in less than a week. They represent 75% of the hits.

2. I find themediaslut.com quite popular with Australians. Could it be because I am working for Aussies or a round of yellow fever hit them recently...

462 Australians visited my site. Followed by 260 Singaporeans, 51 Americans, 16 Hong Kongers, 5 South Koreans (no North Koreans yet), 3 Japanese, 1 Indonesian and 7 Stateless... Stateless because their IP adderesses couldn't be identified.

3. 50.7% of visitors used Firefox to access my site. 21.8% used Opera and 20.7% used IE.. Who says IE rules the Internet.

4. 78.3% who visited the site spend between 0s - 30s. only 2% spend more than an hour at the site.. but I think that 2% could be me...

The moment we use the word slut, we immediately form an image of a woman considered to be sexually promiscuous. A media slut, is however has no sexual linkage, but plays on the word "promiscuous".

If you were to do a search on "promiscuous" at www.dictionary.com, you would find a definition of promiscuous goes like this...


"Promiscuous" - Consisting of diverse, unrelated parts or individuals; confused: “Throngs promiscuous strew the level green” (Alexander Pope).

Media sluts are not people that sleep around with media personalities, but it actually refers to people who love to be in the media limelight, regardless of the medium.

I would like to thank Denizen for promoting my site at clubsnap.org...

To Pisces25 of Clubsnap.org, the media slut refers to me, the unfortunate blogger, infamous in the media industry for creating controversies, gate-crashing media parties, etc. In fact I am on the "watch out" list of many PR agencies.

The media slut title has no reference or intends to make any reference to the models. In fact, I have emailed the girls and told them where they can download their photos. So far no complains from them.
